How To Edit High-ISO Photos in Lightroom

Modern cameras can handle low light quite impressively, but high ISOs will still introduce some noise into your images. So, what can you do when that happens? This excellent video tutorial will show you how to process high-ISO images in Lightroom to reduce the appearance of noise while still maintaining sharp results with plenty of detail.

Coming to you from Anthony Morganti, this helpful video tutorial will show you how to process high-ISO photos in Lightroom. A lot of people are a bit afraid to embrace higher ISOs, which is understandable given the increase in noise. This often leads to them using shutter speeds that are too slow to prevent camera shake or subject motion blur. The important thing to remember, however, is that you can always work on the noise in an high-ISO image with software, but not much can be done to save a blurry photo. In other words, a photo with noise that is still sharp and full of detail is always preferable to one that does not have noise but is blurry because an inappropriate slow shutter speed was used, so do not be afraid to crank up that ISO when necessary! Check out the video above for the full rundown from Morganti.
