Compact Hybrid Body Design
All of these capabilities are housed in an amazingly tiny and lightweight housing, which also includes a full-frame image sensor and 10-bit 4K 60p/50p recording, as well as 14+ stops of V-Log.
CMOS sensor with 24.2MP resolution and Dual Native ISO technology
While taking both still shots and movies, the 24.2MP CMOS Sensor provides excellent sensitivity while also producing high-quality images. The use of Dual Native ISO technology* considerably improves the video quality.
Various Recording Modes are available.
Recording modes include 4K 60p/50p* 4:2:0 10-bit, C4K*/4K 30p/25p, and 4K 60p/50p 4:2:0 10-bit to meet a broad variety of requirements. 4:2:2 10-bit — plus 4K 8-bit — with no restriction on the amount of time that may be spent capturing video.
HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) Output
When using the 10-bit option, 4:2:2 10-bit HDMI output is possible, as is simultaneous recording to an external disk or SD card using the 10-bit setting.
Video Data Output in RAW Format
With the firmware upgrade version 2.0, the Atomos Ninja V 4K HDR monitor-recorder can output up to 29.97p 5.9K (5888×3312, 16:9) / 59.94p 4K (4128×2176, 17:9) and Anamorphic 3.5K (3536×2656, 4:3) 12-bit RAW video data via HDMI, which may be saved as Apple ProRes RAW on the Ninja V.
